Peterhead’s League 2-winning manager Jim McInally has admitted that losing Craig Tully to East Stirlingshire is a big blow but he could not stand in his coach’s way.
Tully has accepted the chance to return to one of his former clubs and replace John Coughlin as head coach after Saturday’s final round of league games.
McInally said: “Craig is a big part of the success we have enjoyed this season and I did not want him to leave. He will be missed by me and the players but he deserves his chance to be a manager in his own right.
“Having been a manager at East Stirling I know the challenges that the club face but I am sure Craig will rise to them.”
