Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has been named Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for August after guiding the Dons to five straight wins.
Aberdeen kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win away to Dundee United and followed it up with victories over Kilmarnock (2-0), Motherwell (2-1), Dundee (2-0) and Partick Thistle (2-0).
The Dons trail leaders Celtic by one point ahead of Saturday's big match at Pittodrie - which is live on Sky Sports at 12.30pm - but have a game in hand on the reigning champions.
The monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
