Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has been named Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for September.
McInnes, who also won the award in August, guided the Dons to wins over reigning champions Celtic (2-1), Hamilton Accies (1-0) and Hearts (3-1) as they notched up a club record eight straight league victories from the start of the season.
Inverness CT inflicted their first defeat of the season at the end of September but Aberdeen go into Friday night’s game against Ross County in Dingwall a point clear at the top.
The Ladbrokes monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
