Montrose have made their first signing ahead of the new season by securing the services of the left sided Ricky McIntosh from St. Johnstone after the 20-year-old impressed during a loan spell at Links Park last season.
McIntosh picked up the Young Player of the Year Award from the Third Division side and manager Stuart Garden moved quickly to tie McIntosh to the club after he was released by the Perth SPL side.
Garden said: “Ricky played in more than 30 games for us last season and did really well. When I knew that he was not being kept on at McDiarmid I moved to bring him here and I delighted he agreed to come.”
