Brechin City manager Ray McKinnon wants his men to secure safety under their own steam rather than worry about results elsewhere.
The Glebe Park men travel to Stranraer tomorrow and McKinnon said: “I am not looking for results elsewhere to benefit us as it is all about what we do. We are still short of players due to injuries but everyone is giving their all.
“We have Alan Trouten back from suspension and we are looking stronger going forward as Bobby Barr is looking good and so is Andy Jackson.
“We are capable of getting points from any side in this league and now we need to show that, starting at Stranraer.”
