McLaughlin commits to Ayr

Ayr United captain Scott McLaughlin has signed a new contract until the end of next season.

The former Livingston, Morton, Airdrie and Queen of the South player re-joined the Somerset Park club from Peterhead a year ago.

Boss Mark Roberts said: “Scott is Mr Reliable for us, which is great when you consider that we use him in a number of positions. He is also a great influence in the dressing room and I am delighted he is staying with us for another year.”
