Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara has signed striker Darko Bodul on a two-year deal from SC Rheindorf Altach.
The 26-year-old is a former Ajax player, who has an Austrian passport but has been capped by Croatia at U19 and U21 level. Bodul has also played for Sturm Graz and Odense and helped Altach finish third in the Austrian Bundesliga last season.
McNamara told the club website: "Darko is an experienced and quality striker. We have been chasing several strikers this summer but once it became apparent we could secure his signing, this was one we wanted completed quickly.
“He is technically gifted, skilful and a penalty box goalscorer. I am excited about seeing him wear the United kit and he will entertain and excite our fans.”
