Kenny Miller hit a second-half hat-trick as Rangers defeated Hibernian 3-0 at Easter Road on Sunday in a match that saw both sides end the game with 10 men.

Kyle Lafferty and Kevin McBride were sent off just before the break and the visitors hit the front when Miller lashed home in 64 minutes before new signing Vladimir Weiss set him up for the second soon after. The Scotland striker completed his treble in stoppage time.

Joe Ledley scored an early goal as Celtic cruised to a 4-0 home win over St Mirren. Shaun Maloney claimed the second before James Forrest and Ki Sung-Yueng struck after the interval.

Terry Butcher's Inverness CT enjoyed a fantastic 4-0 victory against Dundee United at Tannadice. Kevin McCann opened the scoring and Adam Rooney netted twice in the second half - once from the penalty spot - either side of a fine Russell Duncan goal.

Nick Blackman scored the only goal at Rugby Park as Motherwell edged out Kilmarnock 1-0.
