Hearts have signed 21-year-old full-back Demetri Mitchell on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.
The England youth internationalist will now link up with his new Tynecastle team-mates at their winter training camp in Valencia.
Boss Craig Levein told the club website: "He was a winger for most of his young career and Manchester United have moved him to left-back and left wing-back and he’s adapted very well indeed. He’s a confident kid and very keen and eager to get started.”
