Rangers take on Hibernian at Ibrox this evening in a game that is live on BT Sport with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Ally McCoist's side are looking to reduce the gap on Championship leaders Hearts to three points after the Tynecastle men beat Livingston 5-0 on Sunday.
Hibs are yet to pick up a point on their travels but were boosted by an impressive 2-0 victory at Ross County in the League Cup last week.
Rangers won 2-1 after extra time when the teams met in the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup at Ibrox at the beginning of August
McCoist told the Rangers website: "I thought that Hibs played quite well against us in the first game of the season. They've had a couple of good results and a couple of not so good results. They probably played as well against us as any other team have so it will be an extremely tough game."
Alan Stubbs told the Hibs website: "The players have applied themselves really well and on a lot of occasions they haven’t got the rewards they have deserved.
“We changed the formation at Ross County and they got what they deserved out of the game - it’s positive for the team and hopefully this can be the turning point we’ve been looking for.”
