Ex-Dundee kid Danny Kavanagh has joined the Links Park side, along with the experienced Steven Robb, who was with Brechin last season.

Also signing are Stephen O’Neill from Aberdeen, former Stirling Albion winger Stephen Day and ex-Dundonald Bluebell defender Ross Graham.

Former Queen’s Park and Elgin City midfielder Paul Harkins could also become a Gable Endie after impressing as a trialist against a Dundee United XI on Tuesday night.

Shields said: “I am pleased with where we are with the squad and there is scope to do more. I will have another look at Paul to see if he will add value to our squad.”
