Morton have continued to build their backroom squad for youth and reserve team football at Cappielow next season with former player and Scottish internationalist David Hopkin accepting the position of joint reserve-team coach.
Hopkin started his career at Greenock in 1989 before moving onto Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Leeds and Bradford and also had a spell as co-manager at Port Glasgow and Maryhill Juniors with Brian Heron.
The 41-year-old who was capped 7 times by Scotland joins former Morton favourites Warren Hawke and Derek Anderson as well as former Rangers and Finnish internationalist Jonathan Johansson in preparing players for Manager Allan Moore’s first team.
