Morton beat Raith Rovers 1-0 at Stark's Park on Tuesday night to move up to third place in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Lee Kilday got the only goal early in the second half as Jim Duffy's men bounced back from Saturday's defeat at Queen of the South.
Rovers remain in eighth spot, four points above the relegation play-off place, and are without a win since the end of October.
