Morton boss Jim Duffy will intensify his search for a striker after seeing summer captures Andrew Barrowman and Stefan McCluskey pick up knocks.
Barrowman limped out of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Spartans in the Petrofac Training Cup after suffering a hamstring injury, with McCluskey watching on from the sidelines in a sling after dislocating a shoulder against St Mirren recently.
Duffy said: “Two strikers were never going to be enough for the season so I was still looking to bring someone else in. However, bringing in a goalscorer is always difficult as that is the type of player that all clubs are after.
“Stef is out for about a month and we will find out this week if Andrew has suffered a tear or a pull. It is not ideal but hopefully I will be able to get someone in that can help us.”
