Motherwell's return to form under Graham Alexander continued with a win over United at a chilly Fir Park. The Steelmen opened the scoring with a deft flick from Devante Cole, before some some slick passing gave Chris Long the space to fire home a second. Ryan Edwards made it a nervy last ten minutes after heading home from a corner, but the points remained in Lanarkshire.
