The 25-year-old who scored the winning goal as the Fifers defeated Peterhead in the Second Division Play-Offs just 9 days ago was recruited from Dunfermline’s youth system by former boss Dave Baikie and has played in nearly 150 games during his time.

Muir said: “I have had a terrific time at East Fife but the chance to play in Canada for the next year was too good to turn down. I have made life-long friends at the club and I am delighted for the fans who have always been good to me that we kept the club in the Second Division.”
