Rangers have announced that Graeme Murty has been relieved of his duties as manager in the wake of Sunday's 5-0 defeat to Celtic.

Rangers have announced that Graeme Murty has been relieved of his duties as manager in the wake of Sunday's 5-0 defeat to Celtic.

Murty had been in charge since the departure of Pedro Caixinha in October and moves on with Rangers third in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Jimmy Nicholl and Jonatan Johansson will take charge of the team for the three remaining matches of the season against Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and Hibernian.
