East Fife boss Gary Naysmith has been named Ladbrokes League 2 Manager of the Month for August after guiding the club to three wins out of four.
East Fife ended the month level on points, goal difference and goals scored with Elgin City but came out on top when the teams met in Methil.
Naysmith, who has been in charge since December 2013, saw his side beaten 1-0 at East Stirlingshire on the opening day but they bounced back with home victories against Berwick Rangers (5-0) and Elgin City (2-1) before earning a 2-0 win over Queen’s Park at Hampden.
The Ladbrokes monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
