Clyde will have a new face in their ranks when they face Rangers this weekend after the club launched a new mascot Bully the Bull.
A club spokesperson said, “Bully will make his debut on Sunday when Rangers visit and his role will be to entertain fans at home matches at Broadwood. He will also use his charm and infectious personality to help encourage the team before kick-off.”
Whilst Bully will be involved defender David Marsh, who was playing for local side Cumbernauld Juniors just 5 months ago, looks set to miss out on the biggest day of his career.
The 22-year-old, who played in the Bully Wee’s first 8 games of the season, has been struggling with a groin injury for the past month and manager Jim Duffy is now waiting on the results of a recent scan.
Duffy said, “David has been struggling for a while which is a shame as he was handling the step up from the Junior ranks well. He has been trying to get himself fit for the weekend but I cannot see it happening. We will wait and see what the scan says before we set out a rehabilitation programme.”
