Cowdenbeath have confirmed that manager Jimmy Nicholl and assistant Lee Makel have signed new contracts ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

Cowdenbeath have confirmed that manager Jimmy Nicholl and assistant Lee Makel have signed new contracts ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

The Blue Brazil retained their Championship status by beating Dunfermline in the play-offs and can now look forward to games against the likes of Hearts, Hibernian and Rangers.

Skipper John Armstrong has turned down offers from elsewhere to sign on again and Thomas O’Brien, Chris Kane and Kenny Adamson have also committed for next season.
 
Lewis Milne and Dean Brett have agreed two-year contracts at Central Park but Jamie Pyper and Seb Usai have been released.
