Cowdenbeath manager Jimmy Nicholl was proud of his players as they beat Dunfermline 3-0 at East End Park on Sunday to retain their Championship status.
A first-minute goal from Kane Hemmings sent the Blue Brazil on their way and second-half strikes from Thomas O'Brien and Greg Stewart sealed a 4-1 aggregate success.
Nicholl said: "It was a great start and our defence has been so good that we were confident we had a good chance but I only have one player under contract so I won't be going on holiday just yet! “
Dunfermline boss Jim Jefferies said: "We are distraught. I've never seen a dressing room so quiet. There was a pressure they had to handle and they didn't - Cowdenbeath deserved to win.”
