Stranraer fan Shaun Niven has seen his hard work and dedication to the Stair Park club rewarded by being elected to serve on the Committee of the Third Division Club. Niven was one of the driving forces being the Save our Stranraer fund that was set up a couple of years ago as a shortage of cash seemed certain to see the club go into administration.
One of the things that Niven did to raise cash was to set up an e-bay site selling football memorabilia and he has so far handed over more than £2,000 to the club from this one source.
