Alloa goalkeeper Scott Bain, who went off injured in the 1-0 defeat to Dumbarton in the William Hill Scottish Cup after saving Chris Kane’s penalty, has not suffered a broken foot.
The 22-year-old had an X-ray on Saturday night which confirmed that no break had occurred although there could be ligament damage.
Manager Barry Smith said: “We will know more later this week after further tests have been carried out.”
