Morton have signed former Portsmouth, Motherwell and Hamilton Accies defender Jonathan Page on a one year deal.
The 23 year one Englishman made 14 appearances for the Fir Park side and had a loan spell at Stirling Albion before joining the New Douglas Park side on a temporary basis last September.
Page then joined the Accies on a permanent deal in early January after he was released by the Steelmen and in total he played 22 games and scored 3 times for the First Division side.
The Greenock side have lost Kevin Rutkiewicz and Willie Dyer from their defence and with Craig Reid stalling on signing a new deal manager Allan Moore has moved to grab Page.
Moore said: “Jonathan did well in a Hamilton side that had the upper hand on us last season so I am delighted to bring him here.”
