Dunfermline Athletic have signed former Rangers defender Stuart Urquhart following his departure from Coventry City.
The 19-year-old had a loan spell with Dumbarton in 2012/13 and signed a three-year deal with Coventry last September.
However, he left the Midlands club this week and now links up with Jim Jefferies' side, who are at home to Airdrieonians on Saturday.
Urquhart told the Pars website: "I was keen to come somewhere where I had a chance of getting some games. I had other offers but I have been in training and was impressed with the set-up."
