Defender Callum Paterson has committed his future to Hearts by signing a new three-year deal at Tynecastle.

Defender Callum Paterson has committed his future to Hearts by signing a new three-year deal at Tynecastle.

The Scotland U21 internationalist has made over 60 appearances for the Edinburgh club, scoring 15 goals in the process.

Paterson, who can also play up front, joins Sam Nicholson and Gary Oliver in agreeing new contracts with Robbie Neilson's side this summer.

Meanwhile, Hearts have confirmed that Jack Ross has been appointed as U20 coach, with Roger Arnott the new man in charge of the Hearts Academy.

Club legend John Robertson is to take up a coaching role with the U17 squad and will also work in the commercial department at Tynecastle.
