Ayr United striker Roddy Paterson has been loaned out to local Junior side Cumnock to give the 19-year-old game time after the arrival of Hamilton Accies striker Darrian MacKinnon at Somerset Park on a temporary basis.
Paterson was unable to force himself in Mark Roberts’ starting eleven this season, however he is expected to make his Junior debut against Crossgates Primrose in the Emirates Junior Cup tomorrow.
Roberts said, “Roddy needs some match practice and he will get that at Cumnock and we can recall him at any time which is great for him and us.”
