Midfielder Stephen Pearson has returned to Motherwell for a third spell following a stint in India with Atletico Kolkata.
The 34-year-old ex-Scotland internationalist has also previously played for Celtic, Derby County, Stoke City and Bristol City.
Well boss Mark McGhee told the club website: “He brings an energy to the midfield, a physical presence and he drives forward – he will be a huge boost for us as we head into a crucial run.”
