Peterhead are in talks with striker Rory McAllister about extending his contract beyond the end of 2014/15.
The 27-year-old former Inverness CT, Brechin City and Scotland U21 player has been with the Blue Toon since 2011 and his form during last season’s title push saw him win the PFA Scotland League Two Player of the Year award.
Balmoor boss Jim McInally said: “Everyone knows the high regard that I hold Rory in. He has had opportunities to leave here in recent years but has stayed with us.
“He enjoys it here and will relish playing at a higher level. Our talks have started well and hopefully we can get him tied up for a longer period soon.”
