Peterhead have strengthened their squad by bringing former Aberdeen midfielder Nicky Clark back to Balmoor on a permanent deal. Clark, son of former Hearts striker and Aberdeen coach Sandy, played 21 times for the Blue Toon last season during a loan spell, however he tried to win a full time deal with Morton in the summer following his release from Pittodrie.
An injury curtailed his involvement at Cappielow and he has agreed a deal with Neale Cooper’s men until January with Cooper saying, “Nicky did well for us last year. He can play up front or in the midfield and he knows there’s competition for places. We fully understood that Nicky had to go out and look for full-time football but we’re delighted to have him back.”
