Brechin City have extended the loan signing of Dundee United defensive midfielder Darren Petrie until January.
The 18-year-old has played five times for the Glebe Park side since joining in October and impressed manager Ray McKinnon enough in that time to earn a longer stay.
McKinnon said: “Darren is a tremendous prospect and is gaining great experience here. He made his debut against Rangers then played in three Angus derbies and showed great maturity in them all. I am delighted that he is staying.”
