The first legs of both the Scottish Championship and Scottish League 1 play-off finals take place on Wednesday night.

Forfar Athletic v Alloa Athletic - Wednesday, 7.45pm
This evening's Championship play-off final first leg will be shown live on BBC ALBA, with the return match also televised live at the Indodrill Stadium on Sunday, kick-off 5.30pm. Forfar knocked out Stranraer in the semi-finals, winning 3-0 at Station Park then earning a 1-1 draw at Stair Park thanks to a Gavin Swankie penalty. Alloa got the better of Brechin despite losing 1-0 at home at the weekend, as Danny Lennon's team had come out on top 2-0 in the first leg at Glebe Park with goals from Michael Chopra and Kyle Benedictus. Alloa and Forfar last met in the 2012/13 season, when the Wasps won all four games.

Queen's Park v Stenhousemuir - Wednesday, 7.30pm
Queen's Park skipper Tony Quinn (pictured) scored a dramatic late winner as Gus MacPherson's side beat Arbroath 1-0 after extra time at Hampden on Saturday to secure a 3-2 victory on aggregate. The Spiders finished second in League 2 and now face a Stenhousemuir team who ended the season in ninth place in League 1. Brown Ferguson's men go into the Hampden clash having beaten East Fife 3-1 after extra time at Ochilview on Saturday, after the first leg at Bayview ended 1-1. The clubs haven't met since the play-off semi-finals in 2008/09 when the Warriors progressed to the final, winning 2-1 on aggregate.
