Former captain of the Queen of the South reserve and under-19 side, James McGowan, is on the look-out for a new club after leaving the Dumfries side in the summer despite forcing himself into their first team at the end of last season.
McGowan was a product of Motherwell’s youth programme and has also spent time at Clyde with the six foot one 18 year old saying, “I want to get back to playing football after getting a taste of first team action at Queen’s.”
