One of Ayr United’s Play-Off heroes is on the hunt for a new club just a few days after helping the Honest Men secure a second promotion in three seasons. Former Dundee United left sided defender or midfielder Willie Easton has been released by the Somerset Park, despite featuring in over 30 games last season and the 24 year old is determined not to be idle long.
Easton said, “I have been at Ayr for three and a half years now and was looking forward to playing with them in the First Division again, however I have been released. They have offered me pre-season facilities but I would rather have something fixed up before then.”
“I would be happy to play at either a full time or part time level.”
