Group A

Airdrieonians produced an eye-catching 8-0 win over Lowland League side East Kilbride to get their campaign off to a flying start while Queen of the South responded to their opening game defeat by beating Dumbarton 2-0 at Palmerston.

Group B

Dundee United were 3-0 winners over Stenhousemuir at Tannadice as Jim Goodwin's men bounced back in style. In an all-Championship affair, Ayr United edged out Falkirk 1-0 at Somerset Park to get off the mark with three points.

Group C

Hibernian secured another comfortable victory with a 5-1 rout of Queen's Park at Easter Road. David Gray's side have now scored 10 goals in their opening two group stage games. Elgin City and Kelty Hearts drew 1-1 with Elgin claiming the bonus point with a 5-4 victory in the penalty shoot-out.

Group D

Dundee maintained their 100% start to the group stage with a 2-0 away triumph at Arbroath. Annan Athletic and Bonnyrigg Rose drew 2-2, with Annan emerging on top on penalties 7-6.

Group E

It was a night of shock scorelines in Group E as The Spartans returned home with a thumping 5-0 away win against Cove Rangers. Meanwhile at East End Park, League 2 side Forfar Athletic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 2-0.

Group F

Goals were at a premium in this group with Alloa Athletic and East Fife drawing 0-0 in the Wee County with the Wasps winning 5-3 on penalties. Greenock Morton got their first win of the season with a 1-0 triumph over Brechin City.

Group G

Motherwell were taken all the way by Montrose in Angus with a 1-1 draw seeing the match go to penalties. The Steelmen held their nerve to come out with a 5-4 shoot-out bonus point. Edinburgh City and Clyde play on Wednesday evening.

Group H

Raith Rovers left it late to maintain their perfect record with a 2-1 win over a spirited Stranraer side. Hamilton Accies and Stirling Albion played out a 0-0 draw with the Binos emerging with the extra point with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory.
