A round up of Tuesday's matches

Group A

Jimmy Thelin’s Pittodrie debut saw his Aberdeen side come from behind to beat Airdrieonians 2-1 to stay top of Group A. Queen of the South ran out 3-1 winners against East Kilbride.

Group B

Dundee United recorded back-to-back victories as they saw off Buckie Thistle 5-2 away from home. Ayr United gained three points as they recovered from losing an early goal to defeat Stenhousemuir 4-1 at Ochilview.

Group C

Queen’s Park retain hopes of qualification from Group C after cruising past Elgin City 4-0 while Peterhead secured a 1-0 triumph over Kelty Hearts to set up an exciting final day.

Group D

Simon Murray scored his first goals since returning to Dundee as his double helped the William Hill Premiership side to top Group D thanks to a 3-1 win over Annan Athletic in Brechin with Seb Palmer-Houlden netting the other. Inverness CT and Arbroath played out a 0-0 draw in the Highlands with the match going to penalties where Arbroath claimed the bonus point with a 5-3 win.

Group E

Livingston maintained their 100% record in Group E thanks to a 2-0 away win at Cove Rangers. Blair Henderson scored a late winner as Spartans won 1-0 against Forfar Athletic.

Group F

Alloa Athletic gained an impressive 3-2 win over ten-man St Johnstone with Aaron Essel being sent off in the second period. East Fife thrashed Brechin City 4-0 at home.

Group G

Partick Thistle and Clyde played out a thrilling encounter in Glasgow with Ian McCall securing a 3-2 victory on his return to his old ground. Montrose edged out Edinburgh City 2-1 at Links Park.

Group H

Oli Shaw and Ronan Hale scored their first goals for their new teams with Jordan White heading in the winner as Ross County beat Hamilton Academical 2-1 to remain top of Group H. Stranraer fought back from 2-0 down to gain a 2-2 draw with Stirling Albion but goalkeeper Derek Gaston was the hero for the Binos as they won the penalty shootout 4-2.
