Greg Tansey opened the scoring just before half-time and substitute Aaron Doran sealed the points for John Hughes' side late on.

Dundee and Partick Thistle drew 1-1 at Dens Park. Gary Fraser had the Jags ahead early on but teenager Craig Wighton equalised. Thistle had keeper Scott Fox sent off and Paul Gallacher saved a penalty to earn Alan Archibald's men a point.
