Queen of the South have extended the contracts of five members of manager Jim McIntyre’s pool until the end of next season.
Defensive pair Mark Durnan and Kevin Holt, as well as midfield duo Stephen McKenna and Paul Burns, along with this season’s top goalscorer Iain Russell have all committed to remain with the Palmerston club until May 2015.
A delighted McIntyre said: “It is a great move for the club to have players tied down already for next season. The boys are very much part of the squad here and having them here is a great move as we try to blend youth and experience in our first team.”
