Queen of the South have signed youth team graduates Jim Atkinson and Pat Slattery on longer deals.
Both players have accepted new contracts until the end of next season, with goalkeeper Atkinson, who has made one first team appearance, and midfielder Slattery who has made four, pleasing manager Jim McIntyre by putting pen to paper.
He said: “Although first-team opportunities have been limited for Jim and Pat, I have seen them progress as players this season and they both have a bright future in the game.
“They deserve to be offered extended deals and I am delighted they signed them.”
