Queen’s Park head coach Gus MacPherson is delighted to be reunited with Queen of the South midfielder Pat Slattery.
The 21-year-old has joined the Spiders on loan until January and made his debut in the 2-1 win over League 2 leaders Arbroath at Gayfield on Saturday.
MacPherson said: “Pat was a very promising kid when I was at Palmerston as manager. I have kept tabs on him and when the chance to bring him in on loan came up I moved quickly to make it happen. He needs games and we have a couple of injuries so it is a win-win for everyone.”
