Queen's Park lose Gold

Queen’s Park’s on-loan Hibs midfielder David Gold has returned to Easter Road at the end of his three-month stay.

Head coach Gardner Speirs said: “David came to us to get first-team experience and he did really well. He played in 14 games and developed a lot. I hope that he goes on to have a good career back in Edinburgh.

“He came through here three nights a week for training after working with Hibs during the day and was a credit to himself and his club.”
