Raith Rovers beat Partick Thistle 1-0 at Firhill in a rearranged fixture on Tuesday evening to move to within a point of cinch Championship leaders Dundee United.
Defender Euan Murray scored the only goal of the game after 34 minutes when he headed a Kyle Turner free-kick beyond Jags keeper David Mitchell.
Thistle had their chances and Harry Milne hit the post deep into stoppage time but they failed to find the net as their winless run extended to eight matches.
