Referee Brian Winter, who handled last season’s Ramsdens Cup Final between Falkirk and Hamilton Accies before retiring at the end of a 19 year long career, has been appointed as a Referee Observer by the SFA.
Winter has been acting as a Referee Development Adviser in Junior football since his decision to retire and he said, “I am delighted at my appointment and I am looking forward to assisting in the development of referees.”
“It is good to put something back into the game after the many years of enjoyment I had as a referee”.
