A first-half double from Alfredo Morelos had Pedro Caixinha's men in command and Eduardo Herrera added a late third after Thomas Mikkelsen had pulled one back for the Staggies.
In the day's earlier game, it finished 1-1 between Dundee and Hibernian at Dens Park. Kevin Holt converted an early penalty but Anthony Stokes equalised before half-time.
