Rangers progress in Europa League

Ibrox club reach last 32 of the competition...

Rangers twice came from behind to beat Standard Liege 3-2 at Ibrox and qualify for the knock-out stages of the Europa League.

Connor Goldson, James Tavernier and Scott Arfield were all on target for Steven Gerrard's side, who remain top of Group D - level on points with Benfica - going into their final fixture away to Lech Poznan next week.

Celtic were beaten 4-2 by AC Milan in the San Siro in their Group H clash despite leading 2-0 early on thanks to goals from Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard. Neil Lennon's team host Lille next week, with the French side and Milan having qualified for the knock-out stage.

The draw for the last 32 of the Europa League takes place on Monday December 14, with ties to be played on Thursday February 18 and 25.
