Rangers will receive the League 1 trophy after Saturday's home game against Stranraer, which is live on Sky Sports at 12.45pm.
The Light Blues wrapped up the title against Airdrieonians in the middle of March and are still undefeated in the league this season.
McCoist told the club website: "It’s certainly been well deserved and I think the players and supporters deserve a day to celebrate winning the league. Hopefully, and very importantly, that can be done with a victory."
The club will pay tribute to club legend Sandy Jardine, who passed away on Thursday, at Saturday’s game.
