Striker Kris Boyd has signed a one-year deal with Rangers after deciding to leave Kilmarnock.
The 30-year-old spent four seasons at Ibrox between 2006 and 2010 and now returns to join Ally McCoist's side.
Capped 18 times for Scotland, Boyd has also played for Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Portland Timbers and was attracting interest from a number of clubs.
He told the Rangers website: "I’m thrilled to be back. I’m a Rangers fan and I’m really looking forward to the new season - it will be a tough but exciting challenge.
“In football it’s strange because you never know what can happen but as soon as I knew there was a bit of interest in me from Rangers there was only one place I was going.”
