Goalkeeper Liam Kelly converted his kick then saved from opposite number Jordan Millar as Gordon Durie's team sealed a dramatic win.

Hearts were twice ahead through Sam Nicholson and Billy King but Greg Pascazio and Craig Halkett forced extra time and Rangers prevailed after a marathon shoot-out.
