Cowdenbeath manager Liam Fox has signed striker Kris Renton from Junior side Newtongrange Star for season 2016/17.
The 25-year-old was with Norwich City in the early part of his career before returning north to play for Musselburgh Athletic and Bonnyrigg Rose.
Cowdenbeath begin the new season with a Betfred Cup Group C tie against Inverness Caley Thistle at Central Park on Saturday July 16.
