Former Hibernian, Celtic and Scotland striker Derek Riordan has turned down the offer of a short-term deal at Brechin City.
The 31-year-old, who spent time with Alloa last season after leaving Bristol Rovers, was listed as a trialist for the Glebe Park side on three occasions but has now moved on.
Brechin boss Ray McKinnon said: "Derek came here and trained with us, as well as playing in a couple of games. He was offered the chance to stay for longer but has opted not to accept it.”
